Note: 以上(above) and 以下(under) are frequently used terms for dividing ages, heights, numbers, grades, etc. For example: 18岁以上,必须买成人票;18岁以下可买学生票(People 18 and above 18 must buy an adult ticket; under 18 years old, one can purchase a student ticket)。 以上 and 以下 do not include the age, heights,numbers, grades, etc. at the split. It means that 18 岁以上 does not include the age 18. If you want to include age 18, then you have to say 18岁以上, 含18岁(hán; included); 18岁以下 does not include the age 18.

故宫博物院1961年被国务院公布为第一批全国重点文物保护单位,1987年被联合国教科文组织列入《世界遗产》名录,2007年被评为全国首批5A级旅游景区,2008年被列为国家一级博物馆。目前,故宫每年接待中外游客近千万人,其中外国游客占到近1/5。
In 1961, the Imperial Palace Museum was proclaimed by the State Council to be in the first group of national institutions for the preservation of key cultural relics. In 1987, it was listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization [UNESCO] in the “World Heritage” directory. In 2007, it was assessed to be in the first national group of 5A-class tourist attractions. In 2008, it was classified as a first-class national museum. At present, the Imperial Palace admits close to ten million Chinese and foreign tourists each year, among which foreign tourists account for nearly one-fifth.
